With hypnotic live concerts the producer duo Farveblind quickly has opened both Scandinavian and International eyes to their adrenaline fuelled mix of club heavy rave music, pop and techno.
In two years the young Danes have played more than 100 live concert around Europe including international festivals like Reeperbahn in Germany, By:Larm in Norway, Roskilde Festival in Denmark and …….. showcasing their blazing live energy and mind-blowing visuals.
Their uncompromising sound has spawned glaring five star reviews and had Si Hawkins from Clash Magazine crown them as »The Chemical Younger-Brothers« and »rampant dancefloor noise monsters« in the article ‘The Future Is Nordic’. Farveblind’s global vision for their music has seen them collaborate with Australian pop singer Clea and most recently, on the gritty first single from their upcoming debut EP, the duo teamed up with one of Britain most exciting new rappers Paul Stephan to create an explosive fusion of grime, rave and techno.
In 2017 the duo performed five concerts in only two days at the Danish Spot Festival and ended the marathon by flying the previously unknown South African artist Khaya N9 14.000 kilometres only to perform one song.
On their forthcoming debut EP, released in the spring of 2018, Farveblind state their serious purpose by going to Norway to record with the legendary producer Steve Dub who has worked with seminal names like The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Moby and New Order.

Farveblind, zu deutsch farbenblind, setzen mit ihrem Sound genau das um, was ihr Name verspricht: tiefe, dunkle Beats so eindringlich wie die schwarze Nacht.
Das dänische Duo bleibt dabei gleichzeitig experimentierfreudig und mischt auch klassische Pop-Vocals mit den sonst so hart-wirkenden Bässen. Der Sound versetzt euch in Ekstase, lässt das Blut schneller in euren Adern pulsieren und eure Herzen höher schlagen.
Mutig sind die beiden Produzenten, was ihr Musik angeht. Ein Farveblind-Set kann zum entspannten mitsingen von poppigen Vocals einladen bevor es dann zur völligen Eskalation auffordert: eine Mischung aus IDM (Intelligent Dance Music), Pop und Techno. Das macht ihre Musik wahnsinnig spannend und begeistert den Electronica-Nerd genauso wie den R&B-Fan.
Die Geschichte von Farveblind hat 2015 angefangen. Damals waren die beiden Dänen Jens Asger Lykkeboe Mouritzen und Magnus Pilgaard Grønnebæk aus Aarborg noch richtig jung. Heute sind die beiden immer noch richtig jung, aber was sich in zwei, drei Jährchen so getan hat, ist enorm: Magnus blonde Haare sind ganz schön lang geworden und nebenbei haben sie auch noch Kritiker und Publikum auf dem Spot Festival in Aarhus, dem Roskilde Festival, dem MS Dockville und auf dem Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg überzeugt. Und das alles mit nur zwei (!) veröffentlichten Tracks. Mut und Ehrgeiz machen’s möglich!
Für ihre aktuelle Debut EP sind die beiden nach Norwegen gereist um mit dem legendären Produzenten Steve Dub (Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Moby, New Order) zusammenzuarbeiten. Gemeinsam mit dem UK Newcomer Rapper Paul Stephan entstand so der einzigartige Track „Jewels“.
